He'll be able to use the Weaponsmith-only Corroded Saronite Edge and Corroded Saronite Woundbringer, which aren't too shabby for DW DK's.

Naturally, I don't think it wise to wait. It would be better to spec and gear correctly now, and get used to the playstyle as early as possible.

I'm sure he's just waiting for me to post all that stuff so she can check it out at work, rather than waste play time when he's actually at home. ;)

We'll see what monkee finds...

Yeah because he doesnt know what the internet is at home, except playing wow. Which I am okay with because it means he is playing more then trying to read when he should be playing.

Unless of course I am making pants on his behalf. :D

It's a Frost-heavy DW spec. But I don't know much about it.

That is the common Raiding Frost/Unholy DW build. I guess it's the cat's pajamas for top of the charts dmg. To understand better, read here:

Few options here, but this one seems to come up a lot:
PS IT HB BS BS DC
PS IT HB IT IT DC

Another tested one:
PS IT HB BS BS DC
HB PS IT DC HB

(both assume you are paying attention to procs and using Rime with HB rather than IT)

What does this mean for your weapons? Slow Main Hand (since most of our skills and spells work off of its top end dmg) and fast Off Hand (since that's what you'll need to proc all the crazy auto and non-auto attacks that come with DW. Also, you'll want Fallen Crusader on MH and Razorice on OH.

And your gear? Hit hit hit. For DW, I think Hit might be more important than Str. You want to be fast and you REALLY don't want to miss since a lot of your dps will come from procs. For questing, I'd recommend focusing on Hit, Str, AP, Agi and Crit. For raiding, the priorities will include Expertise, Spell Hit and Stamina.

Let it be known that DW is the top of the charts in dps, but it's a little trickier to use than the 2H specs. That being said, it is more forgiving of gear than other DPS specs.
