I seem to have a talent for hijacking threads.  I've moved this here from the Carl's Jr. discussion, of all places.

I've repecced into Enhancing Totems, so my strength of earth totem gives 178 to str and agi.  That's 23 more of each over a DK's horn of winter, if I'm not mistaken.

So, DK tanks, I only get to drop one earth totem, so what's better? The extra 23 str and agi from SOE, or the 1150 armor from Stoneskin totem? 

Obviously, the more melee dps in the group, the more SOE benefits the group.   But it seems like a hard decision, even just considering the tank alone...

yes, I'm playing with a poll question, because I'm bored.  and lonely.

it IS a tough call, because they've designed Horn to be semi-spammable for the tiny boost in runic power. usually, when tanking, it doesn't matter so much (runic power builds quickly) .. so i could probably get used to NOT using it.

Side note: Was just helping mikey with an elite in Dragonblight. I squeezed out 1800+ dps. Sure, I felt a little like a High Schooler beating up a Middle Schooler, but I still enjoyed it.
