3.1 patch notes are up. WowInsider has seperate articles for each class, too. DK gets some good, some bad. Shaman, spriest, and pallys all look like they mainly get buffs.
On a trivia note: one of the wierdest changes I've ever seen.
Bloodlust is a raid-wide shaman buff that increases the haste rating of all members by 30%. After the buff expires, you gain the "sated" debuff, which prevents you from being bloodlusted again until it expires.
Currently the cooldown on the spell is 10 minutes, and the duration of the sated debuff is 5 minutes. Meaning that in a party/raid with one shaman, you can be bloodlusted every 10 minutes, because that's how long I have to wait to cast the spell again. If you have more shamans, you can be bloodlusted every 5 minutes, because of the debuff.
3.1 change: Cooldown reduced to 5 minutes, Sated debuff increased to 10 minutes.
WTF? why bother reducing the cooldown? Sure, I can cast it every 5 minutes, but it won't affect anyone! Remember, this is a raid-wide buff/debuff! The only bizarre situation I can see where I would cast this every 5 minutes, rather than every 10, is if, for some reason, I change to an entirely new party! At exactly the right time... and it still won't affect me, the caster... Why not just leave the cooldown at 10, and increase the debuff at 10? Why taunt me with the shorter 5 minute cooldown, which is entirely useless?
I saw that and was puzzled, too. Perhaps they were assuming everyone would die around 5 minutes, and would lose their debuff, thus enabling them to get re-buffed.
